HCCC is a proud member of the the Indiana Music Education Association and the Chambers of Commerce for Greenfield and Fortville.
HCCC holds one major fundraiser each fall, and we call it "Month of Giving." Month of Giving funds help us pay for the myriad expenses we have to rent a venue, hire guest artists, pay for sound technicians, online ticket platform, stage and set, programs, and all the extras that we provide during the concert weekends. Additionally, Month of Giving funds are used to help bridge the gap between what we charge students to participate and what it actually costs to provide our program.
A successful MOG campaign is vital for the health of the choir. Would you help us continue giving the gift of song to students in central Indiana?
December 9 | 2:30pm and 7:00pm | Mount Vernon High School | Fortville, IN
We're thrilled to have been selected as a recipient of a generous grant from the Indiana Arts Commission!
“Art and creativity strengthen the fabric of Indiana’s communities. They promote connection and cohesion, foster the entrepreneurial spirit communities need to thrive, and create the kinds of communities where people want to live,” said Miah Michaelsen, Executive Director of the Indiana Arts Commission. “In every corner of our state, public funding for arts and creativity continually proves to be a high-return investment that improves the quality of life of Hoosiers and drives economic development within our state.”
When the calendar turns to December, Christmas is in the air. The music, the lights, the food, and the parties tell us something special is afoot. Join us as emcees Grace and Garrett lead us on a musical journey to discover the Song of Christmas. It's a melody you'll want to sing all year!
